Why a small hotel works for groups
With eighteen rooms, Bird of Paradise is small enough for one group to take over entirely, and that changes the whole trip. The pool is yours. The courtyard is yours. Everyone starts the day together at breakfast.
The hotel is in the middle of Jacó, two minutes on foot from the beach, so the group can split up for surf lessons, tours or a quiet day and still meet back at the pool.

Fitting everyone in
The rooms range from queen rooms and twin rooms to suites. The suites have twice the space and two balconies, though no kitchenette. Every quote comes with a suggested room layout, and if your group is bigger than the hotel sleeps, we help you place the rest nearby.
The guest who checks in must be 21 or older, and younger guests are welcome to stay with them. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out at 11 AM.
Getting the group here
The drive from San José airport takes about an hour and a half to two hours, depending on traffic. Private transfers for the whole group can be arranged with an independent transfer service.
